RENEWAL OF THE NATIONAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR EXECUTIVES IN THE COMMERCE SECTOR \u2013 AGREEMENT SIGNED ON 5 NOVEMBER 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 5 November 2025, the long-awaited renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (NCBA) for Executives in the Commerce, Distribution and Services Sector was officially signed.<\/p>\n

The agreement introduces significant changes in both the economic and welfare frameworks, with the aim of aligning executive compensation with market developments and promoting a more sustainable and generative model of leadership.<\/p>\n

Salary Increases: the agreement provides for a gross monthly salary increase of \u20ac800 at full implementation, to be granted in three instalments over the period 2026\u20132028.
\nThe staggered structure of the increase is intended to balance the economic sustainability needs of companies with the objective of ensuring appropriate remuneration in line with inflation and the growing complexity of executive responsibilities. The measure seeks to recognise the strategic contribution of executives in driving business transformation and innovation within the tertiary sector.<\/p>\n

Strengthened Contractual Welfare: From a welfare perspective, the renewal introduces an annual welfare credit of \u20ac1,500 per executive for each year from 2026 to 2028, which may be used for contractual and corporate welfare services.
\nThis initiative broadens the range of tools available to executives to support health, work-life balance, and overall well-being, strengthening the integrated approach between direct remuneration and non-monetary benefits.<\/p>\n

Adjustment of the Mario Negri Fund Contribution: the agreement also provides for an adjustment of the employer\u2019s supplementary contribution to the Mario Negri Fund, in line with fund performance and the sustainability requirements of the complementary pension system.<\/p>\n

New Scheme for Senior Executives \u2013 Mentoring and Generational Renewal: one of the most innovative elements of the renewal is the experimental provision allowing companies to agree \u2014 under favourable conditions \u2014 to retain senior executives beyond the standard retirement age. The goal is twofold: to foster generational renewal while preserving and transferring managerial know-how through mentoring and coaching activities with younger executives.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
