NCBA FOR INDUSTRIAL SECTOR: SIGNED RENEWAL AGREEMENT
On November 22, the agreement for the renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (NCBA) for the Industrial Sector was formally signed. This renewal introduces a comprehensive array of significant measures regarding remuneration, welfare, employment stability, and collective rights. From an economic perspective, the agreement provides for an increase in the average gross monthly salary, amounting to a total of 205 euros over the full duration of the contract. In addition, flexible benefits will be raised to 250 euros, to be disbursed by February 2026.
Among the most notable innovations is the introduction of a clause establishing a 20% threshold for the stabilization of fixed-term contracts, with the objective of reducing precarious employment and promoting pathways toward more secure and stable positions. Furthermore, the role of works councils (RSU) is strengthened, particularly concerning gender policy matters, and the overall quota of collectively utilized Paid Leave (PAR) hours is increased. Finally, the agreement includes an increase in training hours dedicated to employees returning after extended periods of absence, in order to facilitate their effective reintegration into company processes.
