SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTION EXCEPTIONS DUE TO THE GENDER EQUALITY CERTIFICATION: INPS PUBLISHED THE NECESSARY INDICATIONS
With message no. 3804 of 16 December 2025, the INPS aims at providing updated information on the exemption from social security contributions of up to 1%, up to a maximum of €50,000 per year for each beneficiary, for private employers who hold the “Gender Equality Certification” pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 198 of 11 April 2006 (the so-called Code of Equal Opportunities between Men and Women).
To this purpose, the Authority:
- announces that the online application form ‘SGRAVIO PAR_GEN’ has been released on the institutional website, within the Benefits Portal, for the submission of relief applications by private employers who obtain or have obtained Gender Equality Certification by 31 December 2025;
- specifies that applications for recognition of the subsidy may be submitted until 30 April 2026 (provided that the Certification has been obtained by 31 December 2025);
- provides operational guidance on how to complete such a form;
- informs applicants about the steps following the submission of the application, stating that the bulk processing of applications will only take place after 30 April 2026 and that, once processing is complete, the amount of the exemption that can be benefited will be communicated at the bottom of the application form itself;
- specifies that applications will be processed within the overall spending limit of €50 million per year and, in the event of insufficient resources, the exemption will be proportionally reduced for all beneficiaries who have submitted a potentially eligible application;
- declares that the contribution positions for which it will be possible to proceed with the recognition of the contribution exemption will be assigned the authorization code ‘4R’, therefore this exemption will apply only to employers who receive this code and may be used by them from the first month of validity of the certification and for the entire duration thereof.
