MILLEPROROGHE 2024: PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE
The Decree-Law of December 27, 2024, No. 202, containing 'Urgent provisions on regulatory deadlines' (so-called Milleproroghe Decree), is in force following its publication in the Official Gazette on December 27, 2024, No. 302.
Among the main new features regarding labor deadlines, it is noted that the possibility of using the reason based on 'needs of a technical, organizational, or productive nature identified by the parties' in fixed-term employment contracts in the private sector is extended to December 31, 2025.
This reason can be used if there are no reasons identified by collective bargaining, as provided for by Article 19, paragraph 1, letter b), of Legislative Decree June 15, 2015, No. 81.
